Supported and excellent service. I self referred and got an appointment within 3wks. I saw Claire at the Werneth Primary Care Centre, which is local with adequate parking. She gave me a thorough assessment, listended carefully, provided exercises which she then followed up on email, gave me a leaflet and booked me on a lower limb exercise class.
I then 3wks later attended 3 of 4 classes (I was on a/l looking after my grandchildren for 1 class). The classes were brilliant, a lovely group and the physios very supportive, I was nervous about attending which I needn’t have been as you were encouraged to work within your abilities, and progress further each week. The background music was great, the atmosphere relaxed yet challenging. I came away feeling better strength in my ankle and some extra exercises that I can now confidently do at home.
How lucky I feel to have this opportunity in Oldham a great offer.
Many thanks to the great team, funders and all concerned. Apparently I am now on an SOS and can call the physio team directly within the next 3 months if any problems, which is a great support and reassurance.
