"Maternity and Delivery"

Had my first baby here in February by EMCS. Thanks to the midwives, the surgical team who were amazing and the anaesthetist who was so supportive throughout. The ladies in the theatre room were incredibly supportive and I wish had the chance to go back and thank them for everything they did, kind words are remembered and go a long way during a stressful moment.

So sorry I can’t remember the names of all the staff but my experience was wonderful despite being far away from my desired birth plan. It was the best day of my life just to have my baby delivered safely. Thank you to midwife Natalie who advised me throughout my pregnancy from the early weeks and helped me the next day to establish breastfeeding before I was discharged to go home. I was so happy to see a familiar face from the assessment unit in the labour ward/delivery suite after baby had arrived- it really made all the difference to me having someone there who I had spoken to from start to finish. Thank you Natalie you are fantastic at your job!

My daughter now 10 weeks old and is doing wonderfully, she is truly the joy of our lives. All thanks to a great start to life from the care at Daisy Hill.
