"I had my stroke just a couple of days ago"

I had my stroke just a couple of days ago and it was a very scary thing as this is the first time it has happened to me. What happened was that I had fallen down the stairs banging my head off the door. The next day I felt completely fine and went to the shop and bought my papers. I fell asleep and after I woke I couldn’t stand. My wife had to phone the ambulance when I arrived into hospital they suggested that I had, had a stroke.

I was in ED for quite some time but staff were very good. They offered me food and snacks and made sure that I felt comfortable. I was then moved onto 4 South. I have been here for 2 weeks now as I continue my rehabilitation. Rehab is going successfully and hopefully I am walking out of here in no time. I would like to thank all the staff for their hard work and great treatment
