"The care received was excellent"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Endocrinology ward

(as a parent/guardian),

My 16 yr old son was in ward 7D for a few days.  The care he received was excellent. 😄 Every member of staff were lovely and courteous towards him.. They made him feel safe, comfortable and reassured him. 

The staff are visibly working to their limits with pop up beds but they smile and do not let it affect the care they are providing. 

Special thanks to Deputy Sister Morgan, SN Guan, SN Lorna and all the HCA for their help and support. 

A fantastic team, keep up the great work xx

Good afternoon,

My name is Mandy Dougan. I am the Lead nurse for medical specialities and cover Ward 7D. I would like to express my sincere thanks to you for taking the time to post these lovely comments regarding the care your son received as a patient on ward 7D. I am delighted to hear that the care he received was excellent and that the team were compassionate and helpful and made him feel safe during what must have been a very frightening time for you both. It is very reassuring that our staff continue to demonstrate professionalism and empathy for patients and their families to ensure their experience with us is a positive one despite the challenges we face in healthcare today. I will ensure that your compliment is shared with the nurses and doctors who cared for your Son and in particular Morgan, Guan and Lorna who are all inspirational and highly valued member of ward 7D team.
