About: Lurgan Hospital / Ward 1 (Stroke care) Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Patient care services

(as a service user),

I was brought over to Lurgan hospital by an ambulance after spending a few days in Craigavon. I was made to feel very comfortable by the lovely nurses and have received fantastic care since coming in. The food is very nice, the variety is minimal but it does. 

The ward is cleaned beautifully as always. 

I am happy enough here in Lurgan and everything has been great.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent admission to Hospital.

It is delightful to read you have found staff to be lovely and are receiving Brilliant Care.

Nutrition is important to optimise your energy levels through your rehab journey and If there is anything we can do to help you enjoy your meals better please speak with the nurse in charge. You are welcome to ask family to bring in food for you that we can label and store in Fridge. The trust advises against ready-made meals and food that need heated as these food types pose risk of listeria.

I will ensure to share your kind feedback with the team.
