I was brought into the maternity unit in South West Acute Hospital for induction and delivery of my baby.
From the moment we arrived we were treated with great care and compassion from all staff - doctors, midwives and HCAs.
I wanted to breastfeed my baby and the staff did all that they could to help us to do so.
My baby had a tongue tie and the breastfeeding specialist midwife was incredibly helpful and took time and care with us.
My overall experience at the maternity unit was excellent and the care I received was fantastic. We are very thankful to have such a great service available to us.
