Anything else?
I would like to express my thanks for my treatment at the NNUH recently, in particular the care and consideration shown to me by the nursing staff and healthcare assistants. I really appreciated their kindness and effort when I felt so ill. My only suggestion for improvement would be if the doctors in particularly could remember to introduce themselves each time and ensure that things were explained more clearly, particularly in view of the fact that an unwell patient is unable to focus and assert themselves as well as they usually would. Otherwise it was a matter of trying to read the name badges. I was seen by 5 different doctors over 3 days and only one attempted to introduce themselves. There were stretches when I was uncertain what was going on for several hours because staff thought each other had informed me. I am 22-years-old, it must be much harder for older, more long-term sick patients. Overall, I wrote this review to really draw attention to the positive experience I had with the nursing and healthcare staff, thank you so much.
