I've been regularly attending the infusion unit in Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry/Londonderry every eight weeks for some years now as I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. I'm always struck by how kind and pleasant the staff there are, and how efficiently - and patiently they deal with everyone, even when they are clearly very busy.
A regular hospital appointment can be something of a chore, but not here; there is always a pleasant atmosphere and some chat or a joke to be had. It makes such a difference to me and obviously other patients, and it is all on a first name basis. I thought it only fair to register my comments, as a way of saying Thank you for all your thoughtfulness and attentiveness over the years. It has not gone unnoticed and is very much appreciated. You are angels.
"My ongoing treatment for rheumatoid arthritis."
