"A real gentleman"

About: Trust wide Neurology Services / Neurology clinic

(as a service user),

The neurologist introduced himself and the staff alongside him.

He was very friendly and really listened to me.

He showed me my scans and explained in simple jargon free language what was happening.

He encouraged me to ask as many questions and even when I took out my list of questions which I had written out to ask in case I forget anything but he had covered everything.

A real gentleman, Dr. McCanon.

Hello pegasusjf78

My name is Michelle Scott Patient client experience lead for the trust. thank you for taking the time to write and share your experience with us.

I was delighted to hear you felt listened to and that you had written down questions incase you forgot them which is a really good idea to do. It is so important to ensure the patients we serve feel listened to, understand the information being given and that we take the time to provide the best service we can offer.

I have shared your story with the consultant who was very pleased to hear such a wonderful complimentary story about him

wishing you all the very best
