My partner Lucy delivered our little girl at Treliske but we transferred to Penrice for support with feeding etc. we live 40 mins away from St Austell but had heard good things. We both cannot sing the praise enough for these ladies. The mid wives were super professional and very reassuring. The real icing on the cake was the maternity support workers, especially four of them. They were all amazing!! If anyone is offered the chance to spend some time in there after the birth, do it... Even just to get your skills sorted and give you the confidence to go home as a family and feel able to provide for your new arrival.
