"Exceptional care"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Plastic Surgery & Burns (wards 45, 47, 48 & 49)

(as a relative),

My mum was treated like royalty and felt in very safe hands under Mr Kirkpatrick and his medical team including the nursing staff Liz and Johnny for her plastic surgery day case procedure. The setting was well organised and each individual was so focused on my mum's wellbeing. I also felt reassured leaving her as Mr Kirkpatrick told me they would take good care of her which they all duly did.

Liz and Johnny were so attentive as she came out making sure she had everything and was comfortable whilst reiterating to me Mum's post surgical care and follow up, even wanting to get her a cuppa. Thank you so much everyone.

Mum was transported home and cosy in her high back chair about 30 mins later with tea and toast as if nothing had happened, that was all down to your exceptional care. Thank you again.

Dear Cee-Cee

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your mum’s recent experience with the Plastic Surgery team at Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital.

We are delighted that she felt safe and that the team focused on her wellbeing.

We hope that your mum is feeling better and I will share your kind words of thanks with Mr Kirkpatrick the team.

Many thanks,

Jackie Dunlop
