I have had good and bad experiences equally in health and care services. My closest relationship was definitely with my CPN Bernadette who as Heinz soup said "Did what she said on the tin". She was kind, loyal, reliable and never missed one appointment in all three years I was privileged enough to know her. She has now re-entered mental health services. I do hope she can help others to the same profound level to which she has helped me.
Yesterday, I met a man called Tony from the Advocacy Project who has made a truly deep impression on me. He was without a complaint and even apologised for using acronyms such as MHO for Mental Health Officer, which I do not understand. I have nothing except admiration for the vast majority of people who have I have met in Mental Health services, especially the Hamilton Connect Project. I wish her and her team well. With love and respect.
Ta choi fir noil!
