What I liked
Medical staff at Nuclear Medicine inspired confidence and had good interpersonal skills.
Not patronising and answered questions fully.
The MIBG scan was performed smoothly and professionally.
Despite poor surroundings in an old building, the atmosphere was friendly and reassuring.
What could be improved
Information on appointment letter regarding procedures was woefully inadequate. Map and plan were upside down (not orientated north).
On each of three occasions I was on time but was kept waiting in excess of 30 minutes to be seen. On the second visit this was 1 hour, but I received an explanation and an apology.
First visit was a total waste of time, a journey of 50 miles and half a day missed from business just to drink a few mm of iodine. This could have been done by post or at local GP.
