"Terrible practice "

About: Mill View Hospital

I was treated appallingly whilst I was in the care of mill view, staff wouldn't intervene when I was visibly self harming, would only be offered medication. In my second week at millview I was extremely poorly, vomiting all day and night, unable to shower or wash due to the pain I was in. I had an examination once every morning - to which they still had no idea what was wrong with me. It took them a week to finally admit me to hospital, which I was so poorly I ended up in a 6 week coma, tracheostomy and resulted in 3 major open surgeries - to which they found I had stage 3 bowel cancer. I had sepsis and ards on my lungs. I was in hospital for 3 months in the end. Had I have been seen sooner by professionals at the hospital the outcome could've been better, my body was shutting down! I would never ever recommend going to Millview, the staff peeped their head round my door every so fl often throughout the day and night, no one sat with me, supported me, cared for me. I was completely alone and neglected.
