"Excellent care and attitude from staff"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department University Hospital Wishaw / General Surgery

(as a service user),

I had an accident and an ambulance came quickly. Staff were brilliant and reassuring. Admission to Monklands A&E was impressive. Every staff member was great and showed real care skills. Transferred by ambulance to Ward 18 Wishaw and went from there for MRI and then Assessment Unit.

Consultant was excellent and reviewed my scans giving me great reassurance.

Over the two days I encountered many staff members and never once did `I encounter a dour face. All were professional kind and gave the impression they genuinely cared

Thank you to everyone

Dear Luckypatient,

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us about your recent experience at University Hospital Monklands and then Wishaw.

It can be a worrying time attending hospital, never mind after an accident, I am delighted our friendly team put you at ease and kept you informed of what what happening. I am so glad there were no dour faces, although I expect that from our caring teams. Your positive feedback and thanks will give the team a much needed boost and I will be sure to feed this back to them.

I hope you are recovering well.

Kind regards,

Jenni
