"20 week scan at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital

(as the patient),

We had our 20 week scan at Aberdeen Maternity hospital yesterday. I was anxious as I had a miscarriage last year and had been worried that we would get bad news but we left with big smiles on our faces, thanks to our lovely sonographers.

Rachel was our main sonographer, however Stacey did most of the scanning as she is training to be an Obstetrician. They both put us at ease straight away, they were so lovely and chatty.

As Stacey was training, we got some really great detail of the baby, what she and Rachel were looking for and what measurements they were taking. The whole appointment was so fascinating and we got some brilliant views of our wee one. Stacey did such a great job and I felt that Rachel was brilliant at guiding and supporting Stacey at times when she was unsure.

We couldn't thank them enough as we were leaving and hope our feedback is passed on to them as they really made such a big difference to our day.

Thank you rt_0901 for your lovely feedback and comments, I have passed this onto Rachael, Stacey and their line manager, I know they will value your feedback. Thank you again.
