"Endoscopy unit VHK"

About: Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

Was referred from rapid access cancer  unit to endoscopy unit at VHK last week. Was really nervous and apprehensive. Greeted by friendly staff who made you feel welcome.  Loads of questions to answer but put at ease. Loved the dignity pants and enjoyed the banter with staff. Unfortunately bowel prep hadn't worked  and had to have an enema. Opted for sedation and had scope with no problems or pain. Totally unaware of anything.Great unit with lovely staff. Toast and cup of tea afterwards went down a treat.
