Despite having A Cardiac Perfusion Test at the GRI and Stress Test at New Victoria Hospital Glasgow, everything was coming back negative.
I knew things weren't right and persisted telling Cardiologist he put me down for CT angiogram at Golden Jubilee, but informed me I would have to wait 8 months, which I did. During this time chest pain was unbearable then thankfully I was sent for.
CT showed 3 blocked Coronary Arteries and my Cardiologist at New Vic said I would need to go on a 3 month waiting list.
However that very day I was contacted telling me to come to GJ. I was shown into a single room and attended to by a wonderful team of staff, couldn't fault anyone.
My husband was allowed to stay in the room then I was seen by the consultant, who was a wonderful person.
Once everything explained A-Z I was given several medications and taken by a senior nurse to an outside Catheterization Lab where I had stents put in.
After procedure, taken back by nurse to room and monitored carefully by staff.
I was allowed home back of 8 got taxi.
Next day I was out my mile walk and did my 30 stairs to flat.
For someone that was diagnosed with nothing wrong, message here is follow your gut instinct.
So far Community Pharmacist has been in contact and I've had a letter to attend Cardiac Rehab.
May I thank everyone especially the Cardiac Consultant who fitted stents and Scott who made a fantastic cup of tea.
"Attended to by a wonderful team"
