"Extremely danger "

I had an appointment with my GP at Torrington Practice Group where I was given medication and was told by GP to make sure I will come back in 30 days to see him and not take medication for more than 30days as it is highly addictive. What I have experienced after 30 days was shocking. I’ve called them to book an appointment, there was no option to book one, only the option I had was e-consultant link which was all the time unavailable. I had to repeat what my GP said when I’ve seen him last time, so I was told they will send a prescription to my nominated pharmacy where I can collect it. I couldn’t believe what she said, she was just about to give me medication I was taking last 30 days and which I’m not allowed to take for more than 30days. These people are extremely danger and out of their mind !!! Then I was told somebody will call me to discuss this and book an appointment, but they never did. What I have experienced during the phone call was very bad and rude, she told me she spoke to the doctor, then again doctor what said about, while I was on hold and then at the very end of it she asked me who is my GP and if I have recently seen him. Seems receptionists have an instructions with how to get rid of you off the phone, they don’t care about your health or situation at all as my conversation with them has clearly confirmed this when I was on hold twice while she went to talk to a doctor and got back to me first with sending my prescription online, then with that somebody will call me back, which they never did, which means they never opened my file or look into it when at the end of the phone call she didn’t know the name of the doctor I have seen last time, what medication I was on ….etc

I suggest to be very careful with Torrington GP group as they can cause serious damage to your health by taking very unresponsible actions without looking into your file or having knowledge about your illnesses
