I had a pancreas infection and was seriously ill, so I was in The Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast for over a month, then I have been going to the Mater hospital for check up and things afterwards.

While I was in hospital, I didn’t see anything that could be improved or that could have been better, I thought they were fantastic, they were such a help to me, a real blessing. And that’s true of both hospitals.

When they took me in they found out I had a pancreas infection, then I had respiratory failure, they had to resuscitate me. I was in the intensive care ward most of the time and ward 6A too. I hope they get the pay raise and support they need because I believe they deserve it.
