After sustaining a displaced and fractured wrist following a fall, I attended A&E. I was taken care of by Pauline, who was kind, sympathetic and very patient with me. I just wanted to thank her and her two colleagues who treated me.
I remember one was called Alex and he explained the process to me very calmly, but there was another who was there to cut my rings off my hand. He listened to me and understood how important one ring in particular was, so did everything he could to remove it without having to just jump straight in and cut it off. He was successful and I honestly cannot thank him enough that I have the ring intact and undamaged. He could easily have just came and cut the ring off as that would have been the quickest and fastest approach, but he chose to get prepared and took his time to listen to me that if there was any other way, could he try and he did.
I’m sorry I didn’t pick up on his name but hope my sincere thanks reaches him. I understand how busy you all were and I appreciate the time and care you all took out of your busy shift to help care and look after me.
