"Ultra sound scan appointment"

I was fast tracked to the Gynaecology dept and needed an ultrasound scan.

An appointment came through for the end of March at 4:30pm and said to go for a scan beforehand . All very efficient I thought having only phoned my GP two weeks previously. 

I was contacted by the Ultrasound dept and sadly missed the call. On the following Monday I spent most of the morning trying to get through to speak to someone. When I eventually got through I told them I already had an appointment and was to go for a scan beforehand . They confirmed that was OK. The next morning I received an appointment through the post for a scan a week later. . Obviously this left me slightly confused and I phoned again to see what I should do. Keep to the original plan was the answer and they cancelled that appointment.

I turned up for my scan as originally planned and was told they couldn’t do my scan and to go to 1B for my appointment. I saw Sr. Palmer who was full of apology about not having a scan and dealt with me very professionally. She did say another scan would be arranged and was expecting it to be the beginning of this week . To date I have not heard a word.

Obviously I am concerned about my health despite all the reassurances  made by Sr. Palmer. However it would be nice for all the tests to be done to confirm that..
