"Amazing service"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I have broken my elbow and attended Monklands today. I phoned 111 and asked for advice and was told to attend A&E at at 9am.

The reception staff were extremely friendly, one called Lesley. Very welcoming & made me feel at ease. I was then taken for an X-Ray with Gaynor. She was amazing. So friendly, made me comfortable, had a good chat with her (currently watching the recommended TV show - so far so good!). I was then saw in the plaster room with Diane & James - again made me feel at ease & had a good chat and laugh whilst providing all relevant information.

I went back round to Gaynor and we finished up my care.

Amazing service & would’ve struggled without the minor injuries at Monklands.
