About: Gartnavel General Hospital / General Surgery (ward 4a) Gartnavel General Hospital / Theatres, Recovery and Anaesthetics

(as a service user),

My dentist pointed out my neck lump only a few weeks ago & I was referred & seen very quickly.

Just out of hospital today after having had 1/2 my thyroid removed. What fantastic care by Mr Hilmy and all the staff at both the Royal Infirmary & Gartnavel in Glasgow. It was a brilliant experience of NHS care.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such lovely feedback in regards to your experience of attending the General Surgery Department of Gartnavel General Hospital and the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

I was glad to hear you were referred quickly and you found the care and treatment you received from the staff to be of a high standard.

It was great to hear how Mr Hilmy and the team made you feel comfortable and showed a caring and compassionate nature throughout your stay.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to the team who I'm sure will be touched to hear you had such a pleasant experience.

I hope your feeling a lot better now and recovering well back at home.
