"Invaluable support from my Health Visitor"

About: Fife Community Services / Health Visiting

(as a service user),

Since our baby arrived ten months ago, our Health Visitor has been a great source of knowledge, and a constant support to us. She has seen me and my baby regularly throughout a difficult period with my mental health, which has helped me cope while I access the treatment that I need.

During our appointments she has offered practical advice, been a non-judgemental listening ear, a stable point of contact, and has supported us all as a family. I am so grateful that we have our Health Visitor, without whom, our situation would have been much harder.

Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to post about your experience with your Health Visitor, it is really appreciated.

I am pleased to hear you have felt supported and that this support has helped you make your situation better for you and your family.

The early months of having a new baby can be especially challenging for all parents and the Health Visiting Service is there to support you through this and beyond until your child goes to school, so please continue to reach out to your Health Visitor for any and all support you require.

All the best for you and your family and thank you again
