"A poem to Praise"

About: Alton Community Clinic

(as a service user),

A poem:

Thank you god for my faithful nurses,
Many they find pleasure in these poetic verses,
In dressing my legs they have taken so much care,
Better treatment I wouldn't have had anywhere.
You ladies are a tribute to the NHS,
Always giving of your very best,
Not just a job but a dedication,
Patience or experience beyond calculation.
I've only just recently disciplined by diet,
From eating too many sweet things on the quiet,
Diabetes caused me to lose a big toe,
Just in case you needed to know.
Getting back to, for who this is written,
I just want to tell you how much I've been smitten,
Having had such an abundance of Grace,
It's enough to keep me with a smile on my face.
Thank you girls for all you have done,
And for all the LAUGHTER - You've turned IT into fun!
With love on my lips and praise in my heart,
We can all say to God How Great Thou Art!
Thank you again.

I am the consultant for the Mid Hampshire Urgent Community Response service. Looking after individuals at home instead of hospital when it is safe to do so.

Thank you so much for taking the time to create this wonderful poem.

I'm going to ensure that it is seen by the whole organisation through our comms team. The words are outstanding for a largely unseen team. I will personally ensure that this is seen and acknowledged

Thank you
