I have been suffering with knee pain for over 6 years now, I have went under a Bi-lateral Knee Arthroscopy early January. The procedure improved my right knee, but hasn't cured it. Following 2 subsequent visits and an MRI on the left knee I was told that I have to undergo another surgery. I was then referred back up to Craigavon.
The surgeon and his team in Craigavon Area hospital have been amazing, they have taken their time with me to get my situation dealt with. I am just out of surgery from a couple of days ago and the surgeon still comes up to see me and asks how I am. I have felt as if I have been really cared for and listened too by him and his team. They have done a great job and I thank them.
I am still in a bit of pain but this is normal since I am only recovering from surgery. I was told that it will be a while before I get back to exercising but once I have recovered a bit I will be able to see the physiotherapist and hopefully they will be as good as the team up here in orthopaedic.
