About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was referred to A&E at Monklands. Just had to send a note to say how grateful I am for the care I received while there. The staff, nurses, doctors etc etc were so friendly and so efficient in every respect, they could not do enough for me.

Even when I was released the following evening when my son came to collect me, they phoned him to say the car park would be full but to phone a few minutes from arrival and I would be taken on wheelchair to the door. This was done and I was helped into the car and seatbelt fastened.

What a wonderful service and once again very many thanks to A&E for such a memorable experience.
