"Pregnancy and Birth of Baby"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as a service user),

I recently had my second baby and was blown away with the amount of support that was received from consultants, midwives, healthcare support workers and students. Having had a worrying pregnancy I was in the care of Dr Scott, her brilliant care and support is something I will never forget. I want to thank her for all she has done. My little girl arrived at 36 weeks and the support after her birth was brilliant, I want to thank all the midwives, healthcare support workers and students in summerfield ward. A special thanks to midwife Christine for making me feel like a friend rather than a patient. I will never forget the fantastic people I got to meet during this journey.

Dear Cheyne2194,

Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl!

Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback at this busy time.

It is lovely to hear that you felt well supported throughout your pregnancy and birth.

I will pass on your feedback to the relevant teams and named individuals.

Best Wishes
