"The staff have been brilliant"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 4 South Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I arrived here nearly 2 weeks ago via an ambulance. It took around 30 minutes to arrive and the paramedics on scene were brilliant. I spent nearly a day in the emergency department in a cubicle before I was brought up to the ward.

The staff have been brilliant and have been providing me with good feedback and updates too.

The food has been very good and the variety on offer is very good too.

I am comfortable here too and the facilities are great.

Good afternoon

I would like to begin by thanking you for taking the time to share your experience of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. It was reassuring to hear of the quick response time of the clinicians who attended to the call and administered first aid, allowing for a sense of ease to be brought to the situation. As an organisation we are committed to consistently show compassion, professionalism and respect for the patients we care for and it is very much encouraging for this to be highlighted within your story.

I wish you a speedy recovery

Best wishes

Ruairi Cummings
