"Reassuring surgical procedure"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Oral Surgery & Medicine ( Wards 63)

(as a service user),

Was a bit nervous as it was my face but I didn’t need to worry - pre assessment staff Kerry, Margaret, Martin and Lisa were all lovely reassuring, knowledgable and professional.

Dr Halsnad and his team were great explaining things at every opportunity so I went to theatre reassured that every thing would be fine. I was in theatre for a while so it was next morning by time I was awake with a cold mask on - staff in ward 63 were lovely making sure I had painkillers regularly. Dr Halsnad came round later reassured me that all went well and asked if I wanted to go home later that day which I did.

I am now home and recovery well. I cannot thank the staff enough for their care and attention I received.  Everyone I met were polite professional and a credit to the NHS. Thank you.
