"Getting better as a result of the excellent treatment offered here."

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Stroke Unit (Level 4)

(as a service user),

I must say that the treatment on stroke is great. You are treated with respect and given the impression that they are prioritising you. You feel as though you are a part of your care as they involve you in the process. I believe I'm getting better as a result of the excellent treatment offered here. The ward is always clean since it is always visible that cleaners are at work there.

The employees are pleasant and allow you enough time to speak with them. Although I wouldn't want to wear a mask for as long as they do during their 12-hour shift, they must actually love what they do.

The stroke staff are tough.
