(as a service user),

I have been accessing support from the Millbrook Team since December 2022 and the whole team are amazing and deserve an individual story about their amazing work (so more to follow).

This one is dedicated to Diane for giving me a voice in a world where I have no speech and feel so isolated and scared - Diane and her manager Younis have made a significant difference to how I have handled the immense stress and their support has been invaluable.

I had a Work Hearing meeting yesterday where they were considering dismissing me for lengthy sickness absence but with the support of the Team and especially Diane I was offered Convalescent Leave - this will make a huge difference to my thinking as I can now focus on getting well.

My thanks to Kelly my Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) for referring me for the Employment Support Team. 

Kelly is an amazing and inspiring individual who's calm approach and care has enabled me to access that support and other support too - wish you could clone the team and spread them across the world as everyone deserves to be treated with the dignity and respect that I have. 

The team are all ultimate professionals and their team approach and communication is exemplary.

I manage a team of employment specialists which is attached to Mansfield, Ashfield and Newark& Sherwood LMHT. the service supports the service users to seek suitable job opportunities by offering intense support that is responsive to individuals' strenghts, skills abilities and percieved barriers and follows this with time unlimited on job support to help sustian employment. provides employment support, careers advise and guidance to the service users who are under the care of AMH.
