"I owe this young nurse."

About: Community Nursing Services / Rushcliffe Community Nursing

(as a relative),

In early January my husband was visited by one of the heart team who said he looked very poorly and his blood pressure was very low he was also anaemic. The blood samples she took and her report were left at Bingham Surgery. Nurse Gabi was one of the community nurse team and as she was coming to visit me. She read up on my notes and as usual looked at my husband.  She immediately called Dr Manning and it was decided to call an ambulance as it was thought he could be on the verge of heart failure.

If it was not for the prompt action by Gabi I may not have a husband. I would like to nominate Gabi to be put forward for some recognition for her response to the readings on the report.

She is such a good nurse always a smile and excellent at her job.

A little bit of thanks goes a long way. But it is a lot of thanks I owe this young nurse.

Thankyou.
