"Attitude from staff"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / General Surgery

(as other),

Attended ward 4A Crosshouse Hospital. Disgusted by the attitude of a Nursing Assistant. I have never encountered a more patronising member of staff.

Multiple breaches of infection control, including sitting on patients' beds, not washing hands or using sanitizer in between taking patients blood sugars, and their relations with other staff was, in my view, awful.

I witnessed them speaking to another member of staff whom they reduced to tears.

The whole ward has an unclean feel to it. Perhaps this is due to the carpeted corridor, which another nursing assistant dribbled urine out of a commode along, failing to clean it up.

As someone who works in another public body, I would be disgusted if any of my staff behaved in this manner.
