"Pregnancy Termination"

After a horrific miscarriage at home last year I felt completely let down by health care professionals by lack of privacy and compassion. This year we were lucky enough to fall pregnant again. But I am on a high amount of medications and the doctors offered termination in case of foetal malformation or to take our chances. Paralysis from late term pregnancy wasn’t ruled out either and was a major concern for me and my husband.

After a lengthy discussion we decided to terminate this pregnancy for my mental and physical well-being. It was heart breaking. Yet the care I received was second to none. My only regret is not coming to this hospital at our time of need during my miscarriage. Unfortunately it’s left us with the heart breaking decision to not try again.
