I recently attended an appointment at the Glasgow Dental Hospital for the extraction of a wisdom tooth. This was clearly going to be a difficult extraction due to the angle of the tooth and that it had only partially emerged. I was apprehensive given the possible complications which had previously been explained to me, however the staff were extremely friendly and chatty which helped take my mind of things. The surgeon fully explained the procedure and repeated the possible complications whilst reassuring me of the action she would take should the need arise. Thankfully the extraction was carried out without any problems and I have nothing but praise and gratitude to the surgeon and staff for the treatment I received. They are a credit to the NHS.
