A nurse from Lewis Manning visited me at home. She recommended that I attend their Day Hospice. After careful consideration I decided to give it a go.
The day arrived and I was taken to the Day Hospice by my wife, I was very nervous and apprehensive. As soon as I got to the door I could feel the atmosphere was warm and welcoming before I even got in.
I was given a very warm welcome and I knew I was going to be okay. It is such a beautiful place to be. Everyone is friendly and full of good humour.
I always look forward to coming and wouldn’t be without it now. No matter how I am feeling I know I will feel better when I’m there. Thank you to all at Lewis Manning. You are very special people.
