"They pulled out all the stops"

We recently moved to the area. I sustained an accident and was no longer able to manage my disabled partners personal care, including showering. For most of the 1st week I phoned the adult social services dept and explained situation. A week later Marie the social worker phoned.

Cut long story short, Marie was able to organise Enablement Team to shower my partner on the days that suited us, and Marie was also able to secure 1 x week Respite at Ludgate House for my partner. 

I am very grateful for what started out as a frustrating and extremely  stressful start (waiting 1 x week for someone to phone back), the department pulled out all the stops and we very grateful.  Marie and her team get 10/10. Thank you.
