"A medical job really well carried out"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Dermatology (Skin Conditions)

(as the patient),

The great treatment that I have had on 4 previous appointments was once again repeated today. I received an all-over body check for sun-damaged skin and all concerning items of skin damage was dealt with on the spot.

The consultant was extremely thorough and caring whilst carrying out the checks, before sending me off for cryotherapy and the removal of damaged skin for biopsy purposes.

The way the procedures were carried out by the surgeon and her assisting staff was really something to see. Absolutely zero pain throughout the work as they removed areas of concern.

They were always concerned about my wellbeing and made me feel at ease. A medical job really well carried out in every sense of the word. Thanks to the NHS.

Dear Joe02

Thank you for letting us know about your recent visit to Dermatology at the Queen Elizabeth University hospital. I am glad that you found the staff to be extremely thorough and caring.

I am also pleased that the surgery that you had carried out was painless and I hope it is healing well.

I will share your kind words with all the staff
