About: Inclusion Isle of Wight

(as a service user),

My confidence grows,
The empowerment shows,
Honesty flows,
My gratitude knows,
No bounds as we go
Together forward with hope,
Self-worth no longer hangs by a rope

Encouragement from peers,
Fills my toolbox right here
Recover capital,
Is my inclusion steer.
I feel inspired by my recovery peers, 

Inclusion has helped my confidence grow,

It is here that i have found the encouragement and tools to thrive and succeed in recovery.

The volunteer program is truly a godsend, 
It helps add to my recovery capital,
And allows me to give back and help others as i have been helped.

What is honesty? 
It's being true to yourself,
It's placing negative feelings,
Back on the shelf,
Inclusion has filled,
My life with hope, 

My confidence grows, 
Along with self-worth
I take encouragement from
The beauty of the earth
I feel empowered
By the inclusion tool-box


Recovery capital
Found at inclusion rocks.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such wonderful feedback as it really is instrumental to the interventions we offer and wish to offer in the future, it’s great to hear that you get lots from your volunteering you do with us and we have a great team of volunteers and service user representatives who are invaluable to supporting and helping out with the running of our peer support, outreach and many other projects that we are involved with. Our volunteers undertake a huge amount of training throughout their journey with us and bring a whole wealth of transferable skills with them which can also be used in some of the peer support provisions we offer here at the service. Also our service user representatives represent our service users on a local, regional and national level with other services from across the country.
