About: New Cross Hospital

Re visit

Dear Member

Overall, I thought my recent experience was good. Even thought the wait was 6.5 hours, I can live with that as the NHS is in turmoil and disarray with strikes and doctor shortages etc.

But, here’s the thing. Why was I asked to leave my vulnerable 76 year old wife alone, whilst awaiting treatment in the Sdec 1st floor waiting area, and move to the general ground floor waiting area.

(This is a person who always needs an advocate during any treatment or consultation)

Valuable information is now missing during treatment and consultation, causing unnecessary delays in a satisfactory outcome and further expense to the NHS.

Name of the overly assertive nurse who ordered this action around 8am.03/04/23 withheld

Any comments?
