Anything else?
after suffering a miscarriage I was given a d+c two weeks later still heavy bleeding like a tap running. my c.section scar had been damaged while having the d+c. one day I was booked in to have an other d+c to remove anything which was still left. got on to the ward at 8am as asked 11 hours later still waiting. I was sent home. had to go back the next morning at 8am, my surgen came to see me in the morning, explained what he was doing and was such a lovely doctor. the nursereceived a call from theatre for me to go down. got to theatre and an other surgen came out and wondered who had sent for me and I was asked to go bk to the ward. after having 11 hours there the day before no way was I moving. I said I am not moving which got me all upset. finally I was told okay we will do it. exact words.! what an absolute shambles, no proper communication and the distress it has caused me and my family. the nurses on the epu ward are all lovely hardworking ladies who did their best but what a complete shambles. no one needs to go through what I did at such a sensitive time.
"waiting and waiting ... ok we will do it..."
