"Parking for Blue Badge holders"

About: Good Hope Hospital

(as a carer),

I feel really angry that as a blue badge holder I paid £10.20 to park at Good Hope Hospital.  They have removed at least 15 disabled bays with - you can park in the main or overspill car park taking your blue badge to the treatment centre to verify to park free. The whole stupid part is as blue badge holder you struggle to walk and possibly need wide door access.  If you take your blue badge when parking in a disabled bay in the main car par your risk getting a fine for not displaying your badge.

It would have been a 20 minute walk there and back. I still had to walk and struggle as I couldn't get near to where I needed to be. I watched a lady on crutches struggle so much it must have taken her 30 minutes to get to the doors from the car park.
