"Safe delivery of my 3rd baby"

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the Southern Trust maternity team who delivered my third daughter in February 2023 in Daisy Hill Hospital. After a previous traumatic delivery, I was very anxious about the safe progression and delivery of this baby. From my first appointment Dr Finnegan and the South Tyrone midwives observed and reassured me from day one and planned my section as soon as feasible giving me great ease of mind.

To Dr Boggs and his theatre team on the day who safely delivered her in the most professional and safe manner, quickly and efficiently, keeping me calm throughout. To the post natal midwives in Daisy Hill ward 5A, who were an excellent support and you could express any concerns or worries to with ease, and to the community midwives from South Tyrone hospital who supported me at home, and whose warmth and professionalism were second to none.

I thank you all individually for making this episode of care the best it could have been for me, and appreciate deeply your knowledge and guidance throughout.  Thank you all so much!
