"Friendly and reassuring staff"

About: Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital / Accident & Emergency (Emergency Care)

(as a service user),

My 5 year old son broke his arm in November. From the minute we stepped into children's A&E all the staff we encountered were amazing. Everyone was so friendly and reassuring for us both! We had to return for check ups and to have the cast changed, then removed and then a final check up this week and each time we saw lovely team members who took the time to speak to my son to explain what was happening and have a wee joke with him. I cannot thank them enough.

Thank you so much for taking time to post this amazing feedback about the emergency department at Royal Aberdeen Children's hospital. It really does make a massive difference to staff getting feedback like this. It makes it even more pertinent if we can target the feedback to those who actually cared for your son. If you would like me to do that you can e-mail me on sue.danby@nhs.scot with his name and then I will forward the feedback to the relevant people.

Hope he is all recovered now

Kind Regards

Sue Danby
