Had an appointment to remove my staples after a major op. The hospital gave me some injections to prevent blood clots and a very secure box to put them in and told me to take it to the GP for disposal. So I did.
The nurse that took my staples off told me to go to the receptionist to arrange a collection of the box from my home as they could not dispose of it there.
When the receptionist saw me with the box started yelling at me before I could say anything “You cannot bring that here, that is so dangerous, someone can get hurt, you know you cannot bring this here!!!!” So rude I believe the whole line after me thought I was a drug addict. I had to let her finish before I could say anything, made me feel so bad that I wanted to leave straight away she reluctantly arranged a collection for me but collection never happened and I have had to arrange it almost a month later myself
Honestly people like that should not be working at a GP practice or anywhere where you have to human beings.
