About: University Hospital Wishaw / Breast Clinic

(as the patient),

I went to GP in January concerned about breast pain and was referred to breast clinic.  I waited just over one week for appointment letter to come through and almost three weeks to go to clinic.  

The organisation in the clinic is really good and from first arriving to leaving I was treated well and updated by everyone what would happen, who I would see and what would happen next.   I saw Dr Todd who was very thorough and the staff in both the mammogram unit and ultrasound room were great.

My whole appointment was about two hours and I was happy to be told there was nothing sinister to worry about.  Very reassuring.
