"I was told that I can't make an appointment"

(as a service user),

I waited for over 30 minutes to speak to a receptionist. I was told that I can't make an appointment and would have to be available at any point to take a call back from.the GP. This was stressful as I am in work and can't take calls or get the privacy to have a confidential conversation.

This is a repeated situation every time my family needs access to health services, as the surgery has not resumed an option to book an appointment time either by phone or face to face- since the start of the COVID pandemic. Individual staff are good, however a booking system for consultations needs to be in place.
