"Restricted visiting arrangements"

About: Airbles Road Centre

(as a relative),

My dad was moved to the Strathclyde ward at Airbles road for ongoing assessment from Wishaw General- however

1- visiting times are very restricted- yet NHS Lanarkshire boast open visiting, patient-centred care - but this ward has very strict visiting times-

2 - how can my frail dad not have open visiting (with exception of meal times) same as he would in main hospital?

Also his room is very hot- nurses say they are unable to amend this - very poor NHS Lanarkshire I feel.

Dear branxt36,

Thank you again for taking time to share your feedback on visiting at the Strathclyde Unit, Airbles Road. I am sorry to hear that there are still issues with visiting times and that your dad's room is very hot.

I would encourage you to contact Patient Affairs at University Hospital Wishaw, who oversee the Airbles Road site, so that they can gain further insight and respond personally to you.

Kind Regards,

Jenni
